Real benefits for the businesses everyone else skips.
Millions of people work for companies with a dozen employees, and most go without dental and ancillary coverage. Not because their employers don't care, but because the industry was never built to reach them. Fixture fixes the distribution: benefits designed for small groups, delivered inside the payroll platforms those businesses already use every day.
A full ancillary suite, engineered for small groups from day one.
Most ancillary products are big-group products with the price marked up for small ones. Fixture designs the other way around: rates, plan design, and enrollment built for the realities of a twelve-person company, then delivered through a digital-first experience with no paper applications and no waiting on a broker's calendar.
Dental
Our lead product and our specialty. Underwritten, priced, and administered by Fixture's own team, with plan designs that reward families for actually using their preventive care.
Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness
Cash-benefit protection against the events that hit small-business households hardest, administered in-house alongside dental for one consistent experience.
Life & Disability
Group life and disability coverage delivered with established carrier partners, packaged into the same enrollment so a small employer can offer a complete benefits stack in one pass.
Enrollment that runs itself
Quoting, enrollment, billing, and eligibility flow through the employer's existing payroll system. Coverage stays in sync with the roster automatically, every pay cycle.
Underwriting on one side. Platforms on the other.
Fixture is a managing general underwriter. We sit between insurance carriers and the payroll platforms small employers already trust: we design, price, and administer the products; our carrier partners provide the insurance paper; the platforms deliver coverage at the exact moment an employer is setting up their team.
A disciplined program partner
Dental-first product design, in-house administration, and access to a small-group segment traditional channels do not reach.
Benefits that strengthen the platform
Products designed for digital enrollment from the start, so offering coverage deepens the payroll relationship instead of complicating it.
This company started with a question nobody in the industry could answer well.
Why does an employee at a 500-person company get dental coverage as a given, while an employee at a 12-person company usually gets nothing? The honest answer is distribution economics: brokers cannot afford to serve tiny groups, so the industry quietly wrote them off.
Fixture's founding insight is that the distribution problem has already been solved, just not by the insurance industry. Small businesses now run hiring, payroll, and compliance through modern HRIS platforms. The infrastructure to reach every one of those employers exists today. What's missing is an underwriter willing to build products native to that channel instead of forcing broker-era products through it. That is the company we are building.
Brandon Thall
Brandon has spent 19 years in insurance and healthcare finance, spanning underwriting, actuarial validation, and financial planning on the dental carrier side. His program work includes launching a pediatric-first dental product inside a major dental carrier, an early proof that plan design built around how families actually use care can win in market.
He founded Fixture on the conviction that the small-group benefits gap is not a product problem or a demand problem. It is a distribution problem, and it is finally solvable.
Carriers, platforms, and investors: let's talk.
We are actively building carrier and platform partnerships ahead of launch. If our model overlaps with your book, your roadmap, or your thesis, we would like to hear from you.
